Brungardt headed to State Golf!
Junior Heuer Brungardt fired a 78 at the 2A golf regional in Hill City on Monday to qualify for the 2A State Tournament to be held next Monday and Tuesday at Mariah Hills in Dodge City.
"Heuer hit the ball extremely well yesterday," said head coach Bryan Vonfeldt. "You take away one hole and he would have been right there competing for a regional championship. I was really proud of the way he battled today."
"Dodge City’s course sets up really well for Heuer. If the putter can get hot, I think he can be right there at the top pf the leaderboard come day 2 of the State Tournament. "

TMP-M sophomore Alyssa Church successfully completed her Gold Award for Girls Scouts by leading a school supply drive for elementary students in need. Through her efforts, 475 school supply items were collected that will be distributed to local elementary schools next fall. Way to lead and bring good to your community Alyssa!
Congratulations to the TMP-M Junior High 8th graders who were recognized tonight at a special Mass followed by a fun night! It was great to get together and celebrate as their junior high days near the end. We look forward to what the future holds for you, Class of 2028!
Honoring Our Mother Mary for May Crowning, the TMP-M Senior and 8th Grade students participate in the May Crowning honor court. Jesus has given Mary to us as our mother, and she reigns with Him in heaven as queen. We express our love and veneration to her during the month of May.

Students enjoyed a beautiful all-school Mass this morning in the grotto. Thank you Fr. Damian for celebrating the Mass for us, for Monarch Music's talent of music, and for the students who worshipped together.
April was by far the busiest month of the entire year for FFA!
April 3rd: TMP FFA Ag Day
TMP FFA hosted Ag Day for Holy Family and O'Loughlin Elementary, members led groups to each station of various farming equipment and livestock where members were allowed to share their agriculture experiences and knowledge! In addition, Pat and Diane Kuhn provided breakfast and lunch.
April 6th: TMP FFA Banquet & Livestock Judging
TMP FFA hosted its 7th annual FFA banquet where family and community members came together for a meal, seniors were recognized, our raffle fundraiser took place, and the 2024/2025 TMP FFA Officers were announced.
Grace A. & Faith Schmeidler competed in the livestock judging contest in Phillipsburg, KS with Grace placing 2nd and Faith 3rd as individuals.
April 10th: Horse & Agronomy CDE
Horse: Patrick Weber and Brooke Befort competed in the horse judging CDE in Colby, KS with Brooke taking 11th and Patrick 48th and the team placing 11th overall.
Agronomy: Kimberly Sack competed in the agronomy CDE in Colby, KS with Kimberly taking 16th as an individual and 11th in the team ranking.
April 17th: Livestock Judging CDE
Brooke Befort, Faith Schmeidler, and Grace A. Schmeidler competed in the livestock judging contest in Smith Center, KS.
Brooke Befort competed in the Greenhand division, placing 19th as an individual and 9th overall in team rankings. Faith Schmeidler competed in the Discovery division where she placed 1st as an individual and 6th as a team. Grace A. Schmeidler competed in the Senior division placing 1st as an individual and 19th as a team.
April 25th: NW District FFA Banquet
The NW District FFA Banquet took place in Hays, KS at the Rose Garden, members who attended were Ava Schumacher, Kimberly Sack, and Grace A. Schmeidler. Kimberly and Ava were delegates for the voting of new District Officers for the 2024/2025 school year and Grace was a candidate and gave a speech on her behalf. The banquet was split between two sessions, business and awards.
April 30th: State Livestock CDE
Grace A. Schmeidler competed at the state livestock judging contest in Manhattan, KS.
Mr. Nyberg's Earth Science class took a short field trip to the Sternberg Museum on Wednesday, May 1, where they learned about paleontology, fossilization, and even some herpetology (study of amphibians and reptiles). Ask them about the snakes.
Monarch Golf Takes 5th as Team; Brungardt Places 2nd
The Monarch's hosted the TMP-Marian Invitational on April 29, hosting 12 teams. Heuer Brungardt finished 2nd overall to pace TMP-M. Heuer shot a 78, two strokes behind tournament champ Noah Dowell, Hoxie.
Other TMP-M scores are: Peyton Schwartz 91, Griffin Schumacher 100, Kolby Olmstead 106, Evan Balthazor 110, Henry Meitner 110, Blaise Staab 113, Eli Stein 119, Landon Herrman 123.
TMP-M Junior High students have enjoyed volunteering time the last few weeks to deliver Meals on Wheels around Hays. We love this opportunity to work together to help serve the community!
Andrew Taylor of Werth Wealth Management returned to this quarter's Personal Finance class to talk to us about growing our money through investments. Students learned the value of starting early and can tell you about the Rule of 72. We thank Mr. Taylor for spending his time with us today!
