Fifteen Thomas More Prep-Marian Entrepreneurship students will participate in the Ellis County Youth Entrepreneurial Challenge at the Robbins Center on the campus of Fort Hays State University on Wednesday, November 13th. The YEC is hosted by Grow Hays and it offers an opportunity for students to develop written and oral communication skills, learn introductory business concepts and use higher-order thinking skills and problem-solving. Students had to create their own business plan, executive summary, financial projections, web-site, and oral presentations. The students have all been working hard and will have an opportunity to practice their YEC presentation on Thursday, November 7th in the TMP-M HS cafeteria to students and staff. The actual competition is open to the public and will start at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, November 13th. Good luck to all our Entrepreneurship students.
