The Thomas More Prep-Marian Future Business Leaders of America are in the process of fundraising for our state and national FBLA competitions. Thank you PTF officers, members, and over 100 volunteers for making the annual Soup Supper a success. We will tally up the money raised and announce it later, but we do know that 100s of people were served.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are tonight from 4 to 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 4-6 p.m.
6th - 11th grade conferences are come and go in the traditional format.
12th grade is student-led and by appointment. Please contact your senior's House teacher or the front office if you have questions - office@tmpmarian.org
When you arrive, please go to the office to get a copy of your student's grades and the list of teacher locations.

At the end of the first 9 weeks, 272 Confessions were heard at TMP-Marian on Fridays. Thank you to the priests, religion department, and students who made this possible!
TMP-Marian is aware of the security situation in the Hays community and has secured the perimeter of the school. We are not allowing outdoor activities at this time. We are planning to have dismissal as usual with extra precautions and supervision.
The TMP-M 8th grade PE classes just completed a unit on golf with a visit to the driving range at Precision Valley. A huge Thank You to Mindy Anschutz for sharing her love of golf and working with the students to improve their golf skills.
The junior high enjoyed Mass outside in the grotto on Thursday of this week with Fr. Damian Richards presiding. It was a beautiful way to start our day!
TMP-Marian art students and Art Club members welcomed artist Cal Mahin on Wednesday. Mr. Mahin gave the students a hands-on workshop over collage techniques. The students had a blast trying out what they had learned. God bless and thank you Mrs. Flax and Mr. Mahin!
Yesterday, 6th graders at TMP-Marian visited the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Wichita. The students and chaperones prayed at the tomb of Servant of God, Fr. Emil Kapaun. Later in the day, the students also visited the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters motherhouse in Colwich. The pilgrimage included visits to the cathedral, lunch at the convent, as well as short talks on the daily life of a religious sister and vocations. Thank you Sister Mary Monica and all the chaperones and drivers who made the pilgrimage possible!

TMP-M Junior High Student Council sponsored a food drive the last few weeks, collecting food items for the St. Joseph Food Pantry. STUCO members delivered 670 items and had the opportunity to learn more about the food pantry and how it serves the community.
