Spanish Classes visit Holy Family and NCK Culinary Institute
Spanish III students went to visit grades K-2 at Holy Family Elementary. The students read a Spanish story, as well as, did a game or craft with every class. After a morning of fun and learning with the elementary students, the TMP-Marian students got to practice their Spanish at Jaliscos Mexican Restaurant!
Spanish II students took a short drive to the NCK Culinary Institute and learned how to make the famous Spanish dish, paella. Chef Phil Kuhn ’06, involved the students in chopping onions, garlic and parsley. In addition, he showed off his fruit carvings while students awaited the delicious paella.
