Financial Aid & General Scholarship Information
TMP-Marian will host a Financial Aid Workshop, at 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 10th in the TMP-M Student Center. Topics for the evening include: Explanations and examples of financial aid, cost of attendance(COA), expected family contribution(EFC), as well as financial aid categories, types and sources. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used for Federal grants and loans and will be a primary focus.

QuestBridge National College Match
Free online application due by September 27. The goal of QuestBridge is to connect high-achieving, low-income students to full four-year scholarships at the nations best colleges. Who should apply? Students who excel academically and exhibit strong personal character. These students typically rank in the top 5-10% of their class and earn A’s in the most challenging courses available. They also come from households earning less than $65,000 annually with minimal assets and may be eligible for free or reduced lunch. Finally, they earn a 28 or higher on the ACT and are among the first generation in their family to attend a four year college. For more information on how to apply click here.
KIDS Matching Grant program
Kansas Investments Developing Scholars (KIDS) is a matching grant program administered by the Kansas State Treasurer’s office. The State of Kansas will match up to $600 for each student for who eligible account owners open a Kansas Learning Quest 529 Education Savings Program account. KIDS was developed for families with income less than 200% of the federal poverty level. Applications are due by December 31.
