TMP-Marian Makes Hays Great!
As we begin the 2018-2019 school year, our in-service focused on our mission, “Find God in the Friendships and Relationships with Each Other.” The faculty and staff broke into small groups and went into the community with $30 and a challenge to make Hays great. All of the groups did wonderful things for the community: delivering roses to residents at Via Christi Village, giving cookies, flowers and sno-balls to the un-expecting, giving prayer certificates, buying lunch for first responders, delivering supplies to Options Domestic and Sexual Violence Services. Two groups had similar ideas and went to area business and benefactors and asked them to match their $30 donation to the St. Joseph’s Food Bank. As of today, that original $30 has turned into over $1290, a perfect example of, Finding God in our Relationships with Each Other. God is good and so are you!
