Kade Urban ’19 Eagle Scout Project: ‘The Monarch Corral’

Dear Friends of TMP-Marian,

My name is Kade Urban, and this fall I will be a freshman at TMP-Marian. I am also a member of Boy Scout Troop 101 and am currently working on my Eagle Scout project at TMP, which is to build a waiting area for junior high students on the north side of the main building of TMP.

This project consists of creating a 20’ x 20’ concrete waiting area with two 4’ x 4’ picnic tables and several additional sitting benches within the waiting space along with a decorative fence to enclose the “Monarch Corral.” In addition to being a JH student waiting area, the space can be used by groups after school for meetings or events.
Plans are to have this project completed by the beginning of the school year in August, so that the junior high students can start using the new waiting area for afterschool pick up. Currently, I am working on funding the project. Estimated cost for materials will be about $1,500. Donations will offset the main costs for the project (concrete and materials to build the items needed).

If you would like to make a donation to help me with my Eagle Scout project, you can do so in two ways.
You can donate electronically through the secure PayPal link. Simply click on the “Donate” button below

Or, send in your donation to TMP-Marian at 1701 Hall Street, Hays, KS 67601, attn: advancement office with Urban Eagle Scout in the memo line. Your gift to TMP-Marian for the ‘Monarch Corral’ is much appreciated and is 100% tax-deductible.

The “Monarch Corral” will be something that TMP-M will be able to use and enjoy for many years to come. Thank you for your support of Thomas More Prep – Marian and my Eagle Scout Project. I appreciate your consideration of a donation to this project.
