Art Club Adventure
The Art Club took a trip across the state to visit various colleges and art museums. The K-State University Campus in Manhattan, was the first stop on the trip. While there, students visited the art department. They enjoyed a tour of the art facilities and visited with the admissions director about the curriculum and admission requirements.
Next on the trip, was a visit to KU in Lawrence, where the students visited the art department. They toured and talked to the director about degree options offered and admission requirements.
Two art museums were visited during the trip. The first was the Spencer Art Museum where students walked the exhibits. At the Nelson Atkins Art Museum, a special Picasso traveling exhibit was a wonderful treat for the students to view.
